Big Latch On Event at Newcastle City Library

We’re pleased to share details of an upcoming Big Latch On celebration event taking place in Newcastle for local families.

Hosted by Healthworks Best Start, the event will be held on Saturday 9 May 2026, from 11:00am to 1:30pm at Newcastle City Library, NE1 8AX.

This is a free event with no booking required, welcoming mums, babies, dads, caregivers, and older siblings to come along and take part in a special breastfeeding celebration.

Attendees will be able to access free feeding support from the Healthworks Best Start team and volunteers, with story time and crafts available for older children, making it a family-friendly event for all ages.

If you know families in the Newcastle area who may benefit from support, advice, or simply a chance to connect with others, this looks set to be a lovely community event to attend.
