Riverside marked a major milestone this month as we celebrated 45 years of supporting our community with two special anniversary events bringing together the people who have shaped our journey.
To kick off the celebrations, we hosted a family party, welcoming children, young people and their families for an afternoon of fun, food and activities. The event captured the warmth, energy and community spirit that has always been at the heart of Riverside.
Later in the week, we held a celebration evening for a wide range of guests — including current and former staff, trustees, community members, and representatives from our partner organisations. Together, we reflected on Riverside’s history, celebrated achievements, and looked ahead to the future. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, share memories, and acknowledge the many individuals who have contributed to Riverside’s impact over the past four and a half decades.
Both events were filled with conversation, laughter and moments of reflection. Most importantly, they highlighted the strength of the Riverside community and our shared commitment to supporting children, families and the wider community.
